Senior Application Engineer / Architect, Maidenhead, UK
The Senior Application Engineer will lead a small team of off-site developers/application engineers in developing customer specified applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis project, documentation and configuration of product at customer site
- Translate customer requirements into detailed functional and technical design documents
- Participate in project specific coding, configuration, project documentation and testing
- Develop and model rules and business logic scripts in the Oblicore Guarantee application
- Integrate Oblicore Guarantee with customer specific applications (Customer portals, customer data sources, etc)
- Frequent travel within Europe
Qualifications
- Computer Science or Industrial Engineering Degree with IT expertise
- At least 5 years experience in IT and implementation of standard applications
- Customer facing project experience, including the facilitation of customer’s activities as part of the project
- Experience with RDBMS. (SQL Server and/or ORACLE are preferable)
- Programming background is mandatory. (ASP, ASP.NET, VBS)
- Experience with web-based applications, Microsoft SharePoint Services, Microsoft IIS and XML
- Excellent verbal, written & presentation/communication skills
- Fluent in English and French
- Independent person, result driven, who can manage additional resources in a project team
