Landesbank Baden-Württemberg Deploys Oblicore™ to Guarantee Availability and Performance of Multiple Online Brokerage Services
COLUMBIA, Md. April 20, 2004 - Oblicore, a provider of service level management software, announced today that Stuttgart, Germany-based Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) is deploying the Guarantee™ software suite to manage the accurate delivery and operations of its Service "Direktbrokerage". At LBBW, Guarantee delivers both the ongoing client-facing as well as the IT-facing business perspective of how well brokerage service is being delivered. LBBW is expanding the use of Oblicore to cover other mission-critical systems and processes.

The LBBW Direktbrokerage system allows LBBW banking customers as well as their representatives to go online to access comprehensive portfolio analysis functions, current business information, and real-time share price data, off-floor fixed-price trading and links to twelve stock exchanges around the world. To support the external business agreements, internal LBBW IT needs to meet several complex service level agreements that cover both the availability and performance of IT infrastructure as well as the success and accuracy of the business transactions. Oblicore aggregates data from a multitude of network management, synthetic transaction, helpdesk, database and business intelligence applications and continuously puts it in the context of the business agreements. By covering all aspects of the Direktbrokerage service, Oblicore helps identify, quantify and resolve discrepancies between contractual promise and actual performance.
