Oblicore Names Jack Freker Chief Executive Officer
Global Outsourcing Executive Brings Demonstrated Leadership and Industry Insight to Fast-Growing Provider of Service Level and Business Service Management Software
COLUMBIA, Md. October 11, 2005 - Oblicore, Inc., a leading provider of service level and business service management software, today announced that John (Jack) Freker has joined the company as its chief executive officer and member of its board of directors. Freker, who was most recently president of the Customer Management Group (CMG) for global outsourcing giant, Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), brings more than 20 years of management and sales experience, and industry insight to Oblicore.

During Freker’s tenure at Convergys, he was instrumental in growing the outsourcing customer service business from $50 million to over $1.5 billion and transforming the company into the world leader. As president of CMG, Freker led an organization of over 50,000 employees that achieved record revenue growth over the past three years and won numerous industry awards for innovative products, service delivery and performance quality.

Before serving as president of CMG, Freker held several other management posts at Convergys including executive vice president of Operations for CMG and division president of Custom Solutions. Previously, he was president of Custom Services at MATRIXX Marketing (a Convergys predecessor) and vice president of Sales and Marketing for MATRIXX Marketing. Prior to MATRIXX, Freker held marketing, sales and key management positions at Procter and Gamble, Jacobs Suchard and Bristol Myers-Squibb.
