Oblicore Names Michael Carabetta CEO
Service Level Management Leader Appoints Seasoned Executive to Lead Worldwide Expansion
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., April 2, 2007 – Oblicore, a leading provider of Service Level Management software, today marked a new phase of company growth with the appointment of Michael Carabetta as chief executive officer. As CEO, Carabetta will oversee all facets of Oblicore’s operations, including finance, sales, corporate and business development, marketing, professional services, and engineering as well as investor relations. Jonathan McKay, who has been acting both as Oblicore’s chairman and interim chief executive officer, will continue to serve as chairman.
Carabetta most recently held the position of president and chief executive officer for ManageSoft, a leading international provider of software management and compliance solutions. Prior to joining ManageSoft, Carabetta was CEO at PS’SOFT USA, a global provider of IT asset and service lifecycle management solutions. As the former president and COO of Novadigm, Carabetta successfully transformed the company into a profitable, high growth software enterprise. Carabetta has also held senior management positions at Amdahl Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). Carabetta holds a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from Quinnipiac University and a master’s of science degree in accounting from Bentley College. He is also a graduate of the Digital/Insead International Management Program in Insead, France.
