Oblicore Launches Major New Version of Flagship Oblicore Guarantee Service Level Management Product
Oblicore Guarantee 4.0 Enables Companies to Identify and Manage the Business Impact of Service Delivery
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., January 16, 2007 Oblicore, a leading provider of Service Level Management software, today announced the launch of Oblicore Guarantee4.0. The latest release of the company’s flagship offering, Oblicore Guarantee 4.0 automates, activates, and accelerates the monitoring, management, and reporting of service delivery for both enterprises and service providers. This major release significantly advances the solution’s ability to communicate the business impact of service delivery, visualize end-to-end service level management relationships, and improve total cost of ownership.
Oblicore Guarantee 4.0 features a new financial management module to help users analyze consumed services and plan for future consumption. The module incorporates new financial metrics that can be easily captured and grouped according to business impact and may be readily integrated with an organization’s existing financial management system. The new metrics, including service delivery total price list, unit price list, and incentives models, enable users to comprehensively track revenue generated from delivered services. With the module’s service revenue projection capabilities, users are able to track forecasted costs and revenue against actual performance.

Service Delivery Navigator Users can now graphically view the interdependencies of all parties involved in a specific service offering with Oblicore Guarantee 4.0’s new visualization capabilities. The Service Delivery Navigator enables a user to visualize the top-down relationships between business services and underlying infrastructure across the entire end-to-end service delivery chain. Such capabilities allow users to take faster action on underperforming services, conduct root cause analysis, and report on service delivery metrics across geographies, service dimensions, customers, and infrastructure elements.
Service Delivery Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Oblicore Guarantee 4.0 contains a highly configurable Service Delivery CMDB which allows the system to model configuration information attributes including location, cost, and usage information. This enriched data set is tied to the organization's service delivery business obligations and may be leveraged by the business logic layer to drill down on root cause analysis and performance forecasting for underperforming agreements. Its integration scripting enables configuration information residing in external CMDBs to be used within the Service Delivery CMDB and supports active monitoring of these solutions for changes.
Usability Enhancements Oblicore Guarantee 4.0 features a completely redesigned user interface that supports streamlined, cost-efficient service level management best practices. In addition to enhancing the user’s interaction, the solution hosts new look and feel customization capabilities to align the interface with specific corporate standards. Its menu of new role-based tools and wizards simplifies deployment and reduces costly maintenance hours. Oblicore Guarantee 4.0 is also now available out-of-the-box in German and in French in addition to English and can be easily rolled out into other languages based on language pack additions.
SOA Compliance Compliant with service oriented architecture (SOA) standards, Oblicore Guarantee 4.0 offers built-in web services to easily integrate with corporate portals.
