CA, Inc. Announces Agreement to Acquire Oblicore
Today CA, Inc. announced that an agreement has been reached to acquire Oblicore. This will mean that Oblicore’s leadership in service level management will be combined with CA’s leadership in IT management, governance and security. Additionally, Oblicore’s solutions will help extend CA’s capabilities in cloud vendor management and assurance of cloud service quality.
What will this mean for our customers? Oblicore and CA share a vision to ensure your complex IT infrastructure consistently and reliably meets business goals. The acquisition will allow the entire Oblicore team to make our industry–leading service level management products even more valuable. With CA, we will be able to increase investment in innovation, accelerate development and expand the reach of our services and support to more customers than ever.
The acquisition will also enable Oblicore to leverage and integrate with the most comprehensive IT management suite in the industry. CA serves 98 percent of Fortune 1000® companies and many significant government entities around the world. Oblicore capabilities will further strengthen the CA suite for these customers, helping them optimize today’s heterogeneous environments and ensure IT is delivering the value required by the business. Whether you want service level management alone or as part of a broader management solution, our combined organization will be able to meet your needs.
We will share our detailed product roadmap and integration plan in the days to come but we wanted to provide you with some insight into our plans. Oblicore products are essential to the health and performance of service level solutions for more than 120 organizations. CA is committed to providing the product support, training and resources to maintain and expand these deployments. We will continue to enhance Oblicore products under CA ownership, and will continue to keep our customers first in all we do.
